Ayurvedic wisdom-based diet recommendations for health

As a health coach or personal trainer, you are dedicated to helping your clients reach their goals. You know how important it is that they “eat right”. You may or may not have heard of Ayurveda, the Indian system of health (recognised by the WHO), in which nutrition is the basis of health.

Since Ayurveda is a holistic system, it’s not something you can learn overnight. It takes many years to learn it even at a basic level. One of the fundamental principles of Ayurveda is the three dosha theory. The dosha’s are three “energies” that manage everything and everybody.

Everybody has their own unique Ayurvedic constitution, or dosha-make-up. And that constitution determines what food is good and bad for a person. Meaning that what is good for one person can be bad for another.

Benefit from Ayurvedic wisdom and present your clients with a tailor-made list of food recommendations based on their personal constitution. It will give them a quick start in search of their personal healthy diet. Here’s an example of what such a list looks like.
